Julien Machot

Julien Machot, originally from France, has built a distinguished career in finance, drawing from his diverse educational background in Europe and the United States. He began his professional journey as an entrepreneur in the education and test preparation sector in the United Kingdom, where he successfully grew and exited a profitable business present in 14 European countries in 2012.

After transitioning to UHNW Private Banking in Switzerland, working for Mirabaud Bank and EFG Bank, Julien founded VERSO Group in 2017, a hybrid merchant banking boutique based in Luxembourg. The firm focuses on developing three key securitization platforms: VERSO Capital, Innovatech, and REAL Empire.

Under Julien’s leadership, VERSO Group oversees approximately USD 4 billion in client assets, including over USD 850 million in venture capital investments supporting technological innovation and intellectual property. Julien is widely recognized as a forward-thinking entrepreneurial investment banker and a trusted investor.
