Asad Hussain is a senior investment and strategy executive with over 25 years of global experience across investment banking, private equity and corporate development. Over the course of his career, he has executed more than $12 billion in transaction value, acting as both investing principal and strategic advisor on complex, cross-border and sponsor-led transactions.
His expertise spans leveraged buyouts, M&A and growth capital across healthcare, financial services and technology. He has led and structured transactions involving corporates, financial sponsors and founder-led businesses, with a particular focus on scalable, innovation-driven platforms.
A pioneer in the development of the private equity asset class within the GCC, Asad brings deep domain knowledge and a global institutional network. He has held senior investment roles and advised high-growth companies across North America, the Middle East and selected emerging markets. His disciplined approach to transaction structuring and strategic positioning has made him a trusted advisor to family offices, corporates and institutional investors.
Asad previously served as Global Head of Strategy and Business Development within U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management and Securities Services division. His earlier career includes roles at Citibank and JPMorgan in investment banking and corporate strategy.
Based in Chicago, he remains actively engaged in the U.S. deal ecosystem while maintaining strong connectivity to innovation hubs across biotech, health-tech, fintech and artificial intelligence.
