Faisal Rashid is a seasoned investment banker with more than two decades of experience across corporate finance, cross-border M&A, and commodities trading. He has led over USD 7 billion in global M&A transactions and structured in excess of USD 2 billion in financings across sectors including aerospace, renewable energy, healthcare, and petrochemicals. His international network spans the United States, Europe, MENA, Africa, and Asia, providing him with a nuanced understanding of both developed and emerging markets.
Faisal began his career at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers, where he developed deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advisory. He subsequently held senior roles at Azra Management, Metorex, where he led a USD 1.4 billion sale transaction, and China London Exchange. His strategic capabilities span valuation, due diligence, and complex deal structuring across industrial and high-growth sectors, and he has advised private equity portfolio companies on transformative acquisitions, particularly in the United States and Asia.
Faisal holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Fluent in Hindi and Urdu, with working knowledge of French, he combines technical expertise with cross-cultural fluency. Outside his professional commitments, he is an enthusiastic tennis and squash player.
